Welcome to Squeaker and Friends Co., the online publishing company. (Well, the books aren't going to be in stores, but it's close enough to call it that!) Here you can read, write, and publish books! Whatever you do, have fun!

Hello everyone! It will in a few months be a year since this website was updated. I will be adding some more stories, etc. and organizing this place up. Just an FYI, this is Kylie, or nala_author, here.

Today the site is up and running again. We also got a new affiliate.

This is the only page that remains. I decided we needed to remodel. The pages were a mess. I also am remodeling because we have stories listed that don't even exist anymore. Like I'm rewriting the Squeaker series, so the original books didn't exist anymore, yet I had them down. Sorry for any inconvieniance this has caused anyone. The site is officially on hiatus.

I think I need to go on hiatus again. The site is a mess! I'll think about this later though. I changed the template because fall is over and winter is in. I'll change again in the spring.

Stranded Island

Summary: Mei is leaving to a basketball competition in New Zealand. However, the pilot of the airplane crashes into a remote island looming around the large ocean. The island proves to be dangerous when Brian, the pilot of the plane is slain by an alligator. However, no sooner does a team of rescuers race to save the group from the island. Mei, though, is left behind on the deadly island, with only dead bodies floating around from the crash. Or so it seems, Mei soon discovers other people who have been stranded on this island years before her. How can Mei leave, when she's already made so many friends, and has even found love?

Awards

Every year in December, one song, one chapter book, and one comic (series or non-series) is chosen to win the yearly Silver Award. Runner-ups will recieve the Bronze Award. An over-all writing is selected and that selection wins the Golden Award. Here's how the process works:

1) The SAFC editors select three writings in each catagory available.

2) You non-editors vote on your favorite.

3) When the final tally is taken, those selected will win the Silver or Bronze award. Those who do not win either of these gets an honorable mention award.

4) The editors of SAFC vote on the writing that is to win the Golden Award, which is selected from the Silver Award winners. When a Silver Award winner has been chosen, the Bronze Award in its catagory will be moved up to Silver, and the honorable mention to Bronze.

UNFORTUNATELY, SINCE WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANY WRITINGS, WE CANNOT DO THE AWARDS THIS YEAR.

Want to publish your writing? Publish it here! SAFC will welcome you as a full author. Here's how:

1) Send a message to all of the moderators with a short summary on the writing

2) When someone is interested, you will gain access as a writer and post your draft on this page

3) Once done editing, it will be posted under the catagory that suits it best
